| Ruben is a very handsome and very well mannered, liver nosed boy. Ruben loves people and gets along very well with other dogs and enjoys the companionship of having another dog around. Ruben is crate trained, house trained, knows basic commands, and walks well on leash. He is a large boy at 98lbs, but he is a gentle boy. Ruben loves going on walks, exploring new places and playing outside with his canine friends. He is also very content just spening time at home with his people. Ruben can be wary of strangers coming into the home, but once he knows someone is safe he will shower them with kisses. |

| Maci Mae is a beautiful, ridged 11 month old female who came to rescue as an owner surrender to a shelter. She is still very much a 2 month old puppy in an 11 month old body and is still learning to channel the pent-up energy from living in a 1-bedroom apartment with little to no socialization. Maci is very much a tomboy and is very much a clown: getting her foster family to laugh almost every minute she is not resting! Maci will, however, attempt to rule the roost with her voice and/or her body … and while we are seeing progress, it is very slow. She is not possessive with toys or bones or treats; instead, she simply does not listen and is very stubborn in that she will often not quit or know when to quit when the other dogs, animals or people are giving her those cues. As with most Ridgebacks, she is highly food motivated and has been responding well to positive reinforcement and treats.Maci does not have any current special medical needs, but does have special needs when it comes to placement due to her low early socialization levels, her high energy level and her size. | Meet Duke! Duke is a great dog all around and adorable RR mix. He is in love with my children and has taken to sleeping with them at night, and fawing on them during the day. He is good with cats in that he doesn't really pay them any mind. He likes to play with his toys, loves a good walk, and really enjoys just exploring the yard and outdoors. He is very calm, and laid back. He is a low maintenance guy who enjoys being near you and getting a little love. He does well with the other two ridgies we have in house. He has done a good job of fitting in with the existing pack. He would be a good fit as an only dog or as part of a group. |

| Raze is just about the perfect dog. He is truly a gentle soul. He loves cuddling on the couch and napping. He almost never barks or makes any noise at all. He is extremely calm. He LOVES his food and will do about anything for a treat. The only thing he ever does that might warrant a repremand is to nose through the trash. Put a lid on the can, and he truly is prefect. He should be placed in a home with owners as gentle as he because he is also very timid. He will back down to any other dog, never dominate. His new home can be with other dogs so long as they are not aggressive, or overly active. This boy is so very sweet you cannot help but immediately fall in love with him. |

| Creasy is a gentle giant. His stance is large, he weighs 90#. He doesn't realize his size at times,and can be rambunctious.He is house trained and crate trained. He currently lives with 2 RR mixes, 1 male 1 female and they get along great ! He enjoys going for walks daily. He also likes rides in the car. He knows basic commands. |

| Willow was abandoned in the winter months and spent 4 months outside fending for herself in MN. Angels rescued her and got her into RRUS. She is a lover and gets along well with everyone. She loves to cuddle and play. We are not sure of her exact age, but our best guess is about 7 years old. She gets along well with dogs and has had some exposure to cats (and has only been interested in checking them out - no aggression, but she does not live with cats in foster care). She listens well, but will sneak on the furniture if she gets a chance (this is not allowed in her foster home, and would be fine with it in her furever home either way). She will "help" in the kitchen so she needs reinforcement to stay out of people food and off of counters. She is gated in a separate area when we are not home, but has not had any accidents in the house or gotten into trouble. Willow is on a pain medication that is less than $14 a month at a general pharmacy. She has trouble with her left rear leg. Although she does not limp, she does not put full weight on it while standing. If NOT on her medicaiton, she will occasionally cry out in pain when lying down or sitting. She has not cried out in over a week in foster care while on medication. She is scheduled to see a specialist at the end of February, but it does not seem to be a major issue for her and she loves to run and play. She needs to have her weight well controlled so her leg does not become a mobility and pain issue. |

Anza is a very handsome purebred that comes in a large package - about 112 pounds. He is current on all vaccinations and won't need anything else until next December. Anza has lived with other dogs and is generally very good with non-aggressive dogs but does not get along if a dog is dominant towards him or charging at him through a fence. He may growl and become fearful if approached by an aggressive dog when on walks or in the yard. Other dogs will pass and he will pay no attention to them. Anza would do well as an only dog, or with another passive dog. His favorite thing is to hang around with his humans. He loves to sun himself out on the patio or in the yard and is a very layed back and affectionate dog with his people. Anza likes a relatively quiet lifestyle. He is well behaved alone in the house and is use to free-roaming during the day. He is also use to sleeping uncrated in the master bedroom. Anza will also love to go for car rides with you. An adult household with a relaxed environment would find this big fella a wonderful companion to add to their family. If you feel you could provide Anza with a great new family and have lots of love and ear scratches to spare, you may just be the humans Anza is looking for to provide him a new furever home. |
