Meet Lexi! This little mama is ready for a patient forever family. She’d do well with a confident playful dog to help her learn the rules, but would be ok on her own, too. She gets along with our female ridgeback, but can play too rough for some dogs.

Lex loves all of the kids she’s met and tries really hard not to chase the cat because he has sharp claws. She loves her foster mom, but is still learning to trust men. She still occasionally gets spooked when being approached by adults. She loves snuggles, ear scratches and belly rubs-she’ll even roll onto her back for them.

Lex has learned to go potty in the yard. She knows sit and down. She learned up and off. She loves to sniff the world on a leash and isn’t reactive to other dogs, but will try to chase squirrels and rabbits. She’ll need additional leash training and socializing.

Lexi is about 60lbs, spayed, current on all vaccines, almost 4 years old. Currently being fostered in Colorado.
