The safety of our adopters, our volunteers, and their families is a priority.
We must follow state regulations with regards to all health and safety policies and procedures.
Many states have issued a shelter in place or stay home policy. Some states have closed borders. Because of this, adopters have limited travel abilities. Our ability to foster dogs has also become limited because our fosters are also limited.
All home visits will be completed virtually.
Volunteers will not be asked to cross state lines or travel beyond one hour.
Because many states have issued different regulations, and dog adoptions are NOT considered essential, we can only take in a dog, if we have a foster within 1 hour of the dog. Dog adoptions will only be possible if an adopter lives within close proximity of the dog.
Thank you for your patience as we all navigate this situation together. We will continue to keep you informed if our protocols change.
